Information we use

• Account information: your email, account identifier and information supplied by the sign-in method you choose.
• Learning information: your language, level, daily pace, time zone, word choices and lesson progress.
• Subscription information: purchase and subscription references, status and access dates. The payment service handles payment details.
• Support messages: your email and the information you choose to send us.
• Usage and diagnostic information: app actions, account identifiers, app or device context and error information, as described below.

Your device also stores information needed to keep you signed in, remember settings and continue learning.

Why we use it

We use account, learning and subscription information to provide the service you request, save progress and manage access. We use support messages to answer you. These activities support our contract with you.

Optional product analytics uses your consent. Diagnostics and measures that protect accounts and subscription ownership support our interest in keeping the service reliable and secure. Records required by applicable law are processed to meet those obligations.

Analytics and diagnostics

Where enabled, product analytics records selected app actions only after you agree. You can change that choice in Account. It is saved on each device, so check your choice on any other device you use.

Product analytics does not receive your email or full profile and does not record your screen. On supported mobile platforms, it may also report store purchases after consent. Error reporting is separate from that choice. Where enabled, it uses filtered diagnostic information to help investigate failures; account identifiers may still be included.

This website does not load advertising trackers or product analytics, and does not set cookies or use browser storage. The service hosting the website may process connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and maintain security.

Services involved

Goblin Stash uses service providers for account hosting, sign-in, purchases, email delivery and app reliability:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards support messages to a Gmail mailbox used by the operator.
• Supabase hosts account and learning information; Resend delivers sign-in emails.
• Apple or Google handles the sign-in method and store purchases you choose. Adapty manages mobile subscription access. Paddle handles web purchases.
• PostHog and Firebase/Google Analytics receive optional product analytics where enabled. Sentry receives filtered diagnostics where enabled.

The services involved depend on your platform and the features you use. Payment and sign-in providers also explain their own handling of information in their privacy notices.

Providers may process information outside your country. Transfers covered by European data protection law require the applicable safeguards. Contact us if you need information about the arrangements that apply to your data.

Storage and deletion

Account and learning information is kept to provide your account and saved progress. You can request deletion in the app or through support.

Deletion removes your account and learning history. Limited account and subscription records remain to prevent a deleted subscription from being linked to a different account. Those records do not include your email or lesson history.

Payment providers may retain purchase records under their own policies and legal obligations. Support and diagnostic records are retained according to the purpose for which they were collected and applicable obligations. Contact us for information about records associated with your account.

Account deletion does not cancel a subscription with a payment service. Cancel the subscription separately.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, erase or receive a copy of your information, or restrict or object to its use. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send requests to support@goblinstash.app. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. You can also complain to a data protection authority, including Spain's Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and explain material changes where required. The date at the top identifies the version.
